Library farm!
This is a really great spin on community farming. Go out to the library and "check out" a plot. Also, for a mere $15, take a master composter class in May, and go home with a vericompost bin.
I wholeheartedly recommend the master composter class! There are so many ways to compost and Greg Gelewski, OCRRA's head of composting and the class instructor, knows something about all of them. It's a really great class for getting a handle on different methods of composting and it gets you started in vermicomposting :)
