If you take all of Syracuse's vacant land, what do you get?

Syracuse has approximately 1,838.68 acres of vacant and seizable land.  I have created a map that should provide some perspective on how much land that actually is.

I will also post other maps I have created.

Dig in!

If you're curious about what will be growing in Syracuse this year then come and check out the Syracuse Grows Resource Drive this Saturday, April 16 and meet some of Syracuse's gardeners

Library farm!

This is a really great spin on community farming.  Go out to the library and "check out" a plot. Also, for a mere $15, take a master composter class in May, and go home with a vericompost bin.
